Would you like to help personalize early screening techniques for breast cancer?

Western States Cancer Research NCORP, a local nonprofit, is recruiting women who want to make a difference in breast cancer screening for women in the future to participate in a study called TMIST.

The purpose of TMIST is to compare two methods of mammography over several years to help women and their doctors decide the best ways to screen for breast cancer in the future. Study results will benefit women for generations to come.

To participate* you must:

  • Be 45-75 years of age
  • Be willing to be randomly assigned 2D or 3D mammograms
  • Be willing to be screened annually, or if postmenopausal with no high-risk factors, screened every two years
  • Allow your related medical records to be reviewed by our clinical staff
  • Be willing to be contacted by phone
