Greetings
There is always a lot going on at our organization, and we want to make sure our friends are aware of it. To that end, we are proud to share our 2023 Annual Report. Much time and hard work went into the creation of this report and I would like to give a special shout-out to Kris Castagnaro, our COO who pulled all the information together to create this beautiful piece. Something else that is new is our mascot. Cancer is a beast. However, many families have learned not only to face this beast, but to walk alongside it. There are those who live with and manage their disease. Others find joyous moments in spite of constant doctor and hospital visits. Many find the grace to reassure family and friends, even as their bodies wage war against them. And there are those who sign up for clinical trials that will change the future of treatment.
In honor of these warriors, we introduce you to our new mascot who represents the beast that has been tamed through the hard work, undaunted spirits, endless love, and brave hearts of all the dragon tamers in our world. He is our dream of the future, where cancer is no more challenging than the common cold (we are still looking for a name for him, so if you have an idea, please let us hear it!).
