Western States Cancer Research NCORP (WSCR-NCORP) (formerly Colorado Cancer Research Program) is a nonprofit, National Cancer Institute (NCI) affiliated Cancer Clinical Trial Research Organization, whose primary aim is to make cancer clinical trials available to patients, physicians, and communities in our region.

Aleisha Hardiman is one of our Quality Assurance Specialists at Western States Cancer Research NCORP.

When did you start working at WSCR-NCORP?
October of 2022

What is your favorite part of working at WSCR-NCORP?
My favorite part of working at WSCR is the team’s professionalism, its efficiency, and the support everyone shows each other, with again, efficiency and benevolence.

What do you like most about the work we do here?
Everyone is beyond focused and upholds our mission daily, which is- To provide the people of Colorado, Washington state, and Alaska the opportunity to participate in and benefit from the medical research conducted through cancer clinical trials.

What are you most proud of in your career so far?
One of the things I’m most proud of is being multi-skilled. Due to my skillset, I am able to step outside my scope to help others in a stressful situation to help the team provide resolutions as quickly as possible, if needed.

How would you describe our company culture?
Thriving efficiently and implementing successful growth together as a team daily.

What’s one thing people don’t know about you that they would be surprised to find out?
I am an obsessed “Pluviophile” person. That’s a lover of rain, or someone that finds joy and peace of mind during the rainy days.

What do you think makes our team culture unique?
Always sharing successful team communication with each other.

How did you get started in the field of research?
Working as a lead lab technician.

What’s one thing that surprised you about your current role?
It’s very demanding at times; however, I love the exciting challenges within the QA department and honored to work with a wonderful team at WSCR!

What’s one thing on your bucket list?
Meeting Tracee Ellis Ross in person and designing ensembles together!
